Puff pastries with figs

Figs or figs are one of the most ancient cultivated plants, the mention of which is even in the Bible.

Salads, snacks and baked goods are prepared with this sweet fruit. I offer a recipe for puff pastry made from ready-made puff pastry with figs. It's so simple that even an inexperienced cook can do it.

Puff pastry without yeast - 500 g

Figs - 350 g

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

1. Wash and cut the figs as desired

2. Thaw the finished puff pastry and roll it out a little. Cut into rectangles measuring approximately 10 x 15 centimeters. Make cuts on half of the dough with a special roller or a regular knife.

3. Place chopped fig pieces on the opposite edge of the dough.

4. Fold the dough in half, covering the figs. Seal the edges with a fork.

5. Second version of puff pastry. Cut the dough into squares and make cuts with a knife, as in the photo. Easy to cut with a pizza knife. Add figs.

6. Fold the dough and filling in half and also secure the edges with a fork.

7. Place the puff pastries in a pan lined with baking paper.

8. Shake the egg and brush the puff pastry.

9. Bake fig puffs in an oven preheated to 200-220 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Baking time depends on your oven.

10. Puff pastry pies with figs are ready.
