Omelette with feta cheese and sorrel

If you are already bored with regular scrambled eggs, then you can diversify your breakfast with an original omelet with cheese and sorrel.

Omelette with milk is very filling and juicy. Cheese and sorrel are added to the egg pancake and a roll is formed. The cheese melts inside the roll under the influence of temperature, and the sorrel acquires a delicate texture.

Ингредиенты

Eggs (category C0) - 2 pcs.

Cheese cheese - 50 g

Fresh sorrel - 20 g

Milk (fat content 3.2%) - 40 ml (4 tbsp. spoons)

Olive oil - 1 tbsp. spoon

Salt - 1 pinch

Ground black pepper - to taste

Рецепт

1. Wash and dry the sorrel.

2. Break the eggs into a deep container.

3. Pour in the milk, add salt (remember that the cheese is already salted) and ground black pepper. Shake the mixture with a whisk.

4. Shake the egg-milk mixture until light foam appears.

5. Cut the sorrel into medium strips.

6. Grind the cheese into crumbs.

7. Heat olive oil in a frying pan (the diameter of my frying pan is 20 cm). Pour the egg-milk mixture into the pan and spread it in a thin layer in the form of a pancake. Fry for 1-2 minutes over medium heat.

8. When the bottom of the pancake sets, place the cheese on one side.

9. Place the sorrel on top of the cheese. Fry the omelette for another 1-2 minutes.

10. Roll the omelette into a roll, starting from the edge with the filling and closing it.

11. Fold the omelette completely and place it in the pan, seam side down.

12. Cover with a lid and fry for another 3-5 minutes over low heat.

13. Omelette with feta cheese and sorrel is ready. Transfer the omelette to a plate.
