Stew with chicken, cabbage and beans

Stew with vegetables and chicken is an unpretentious but very appetizing second course.

Chicken thighs, canned beans and potatoes provide a hearty base, while white cabbage adds juiciness and a delicate texture. Tomato paste and hot peppers balance the taste.

Ингредиенты

Chicken thighs (fillet) - 370 g

Potatoes - 350 g

White cabbage - 200 g

Canned beans - 330 g

Onions - 130 g

Carrots - 150 g

Hot red pepper - 20 g

Tomato paste - 70 g (2 heaped tablespoons)

Vegetable oil - 30 ml (2 tbsp. spoons)

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (to taste)

Ground black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

1. Cut chicken thigh fillet into strips.

2. Place the chicken in a cauldron or deep frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Fry over high heat until browned on all sides, 7-8 minutes.

3. Cut the cabbage into thin strips. Peel the potatoes and cut into medium slices.

4. Add potatoes to chicken meat. Stir and fry over medium heat for 7 minutes.

5. Peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onion into half rings, hot pepper into thin rings, carrots into strips.

6. Add onions, peppers and carrots to the pan. Stir, fry for 5 minutes.

7. Add cabbage to the rest of the vegetables.

8. Stir and cook covered for 7-10 minutes.

9. After a while, add tomato paste and canned beans to the chicken with vegetables. Mix.

10. Salt and pepper. Mix.

11. Pour in 60 ml of water. Cover the pan with a lid.

12. Simmer over low heat, covered, until cooked, 5-7 minutes.

13. Stew with chicken, cabbage and beans can be served.
